A wake-up call! An early start and a tricky stage. Fast to start but then watch out as it tightens up. A few short sections of tarmac in the middle that could be slippy.
Another highly technical start to a very technical stage with a fantastic flow to it.
Starts on a short tarmac section uphill, over the crest onto gravel and the road twists down past the farmland. At the bottom of the valley there’s a tight left hand turn and tarmac for 1k and a tight right hand back onto gravel. Two short slow zones in here and then off we go into a great hard based road running along the side of the forest. Fast and mostly smooth, it will be great fun.
Is repeated as Stage 6 just before Lunch.
A great BOP road that starts uphill and then flows over the top on a great technical, twisty gravel road, then onto a section of tarmac that takes you to the infamous Helicopter Corner and back onto gravel. Stage flows through here until you turn left and then you’re into some fast gravel for a short while, and then back into the twisty stuff through to the end.
Is repeated as Stage 8 straight after the Lunchtime Service.
A stage we couldn’t do last year because the touring route was blocked by flooding. No flooding this year and we’re onto a fast, flowing road that again runs along the side of the forest. Had to put a Virtual Chicane in here towards the finish.
Repeats as Stage 9 this afternoon.
This was Stage 3 this morning.

A really nice flowing stage that starts over a crest and then its all downhill and finishes on a bit of tarmac. You’ll love this one.
A repeat of Stage 4 this morning. This Time its the NZRC Power Stage.

Fantastic, flowing, technical, tricky in places. If you don’t enjoy this stage – find another sport!
Our popular spectator stage. Freshly groomed for something a bit different.
A reverse direction run through Stage 1.
So you’ve done this stage first thing this morning – just not this way! This time it starts out tight and twisty and finishes fast. Don’t lose concentration just yet!
